Neutral ground

Most times, when people talk about neutrals, everyone just assumes they mean shades of khaki or black or white. But, this season, I want you to start thinking of grey as your new go-to neutral. First of all, it goes perfectly with all the fall colors that are in this year- purple, teal, and tangerine. Red is also going to be very big and I do LOVE grey with red.

Secondly, when it comes to grey makeup, it's a little less stark than plain old black. Cosmetics companies are even making grey mascara now to give eyes a great smoky, sooty look. I, for one can't wait to try it. I currently have a fantastic deep gun-metal grey on my fingernails. That's another way to rock the shade.

If nothing else, consider investing in a grey bag. You seriously can't go wrong with this one. It will go with everything, it won't show stains, and you can use it all the way through the fall and winter.
