Hide and seek

So, there are those days that we aren't exactly looking our best. There may be something we need to try to hide/disguise/coverup. Let's talk about that today.

Now, we all have bad hair days every once in a while. Maybe it's sticking up funny or you've got greasy roots or just roots showing, period, because it's still another week until your hair appointment. What to do? Rock a cute hat. I'm not kidding. Slouchy, fabulous hats are it for the fall and winter. And guess what- they are also wearable in the office. My personal favorite place to get hats right now is Forever 21 (www.forever21.com) Too is currently in love with these: http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=acc%5Fhat%5Fhairgoods&product%5Fid=2068179606&Page=3

SO CUTE! And instead of being self conscious about what your head is looking like, you'll be the envy of the office!

Let's move down to the face. I don't care how much of a grownup you are, you can still get a zit. Boooooo! This is why I'm not 13 anymore!! But, I do have a few tricks to help. First, own a makeup primer. This is kind of like spackle to help even things out before you apply your foundation. Primers can also be oil absorbing, so that thing won't be glowing red halfway through the day. Next, apply your foundation, patting it gently over the zit. When your foundation has had a minute to "set", take a teeny, tiny brush and apply a light layer of concealer JUST on the zit. The most important part of that whole thing is NOT to touch your face during the day. You'll just end up taking all that hard work off.
